In case you were out of the loop, under a rock, in a forbidden underground shack in the middle of some demon-boar infested wilds, the newest iteration of Windows is actually superb. Stop mucking around with Linux blasphemy.
Yes, it’s superb… like how it’s superb when my feces is nice and solid rather than all runny.
But no, really — Windows 7 IS certainly the best Windows release ever, and there are many enhancements I’d like to see open-source projects copy. However, it’s still Windows. And Windows just does not meet my needs.
Things I miss whenever I have to use Windows: multiple desktops (a big concern); customability of basic UI elements; customability all around; a sucky file manager (no tabs? Suck!); and random little things.
